The Ros Tapestry Project is a massive community initiative in progress in the County of Wexford.

Conceived in 1998 and being developed by over 150 dedicated volunteers, fifteen striking embroidered panels – 6 x 4 foot each – it is a cultural and historical accolade to its creators.

The Ros Tapestries depict events around the Anglo-Norman arrival in the South East of Ireland, especially  the founding of the town of New Ross, Co. Wexford by the famous Norman knight, closely connected with four English kings, William Marshal, and his wife, Isabel de Clare, daughter of Strongbow.

New Ross Needlecraft Ltd has been given contact details of its company members, voluntary stitchers, Friends, patrons, staff and visitors by each of these categories of people. This information is maintained securely by the company.

Our reason for holding this data is to inform our stakeholders of Annual General Meetings, Extra Ordinary General Meetings and news of events or activities undertaken by the company.  Personal data on any of our stakeholders may be amended or deleted at the behest of its owner at any time and will not be shared by a third party without their express permission.
